A one of a kind purple tiny hat with a big and whimsical personality. Perfect for sipping tea at a tea party or for hunting eggs with your kids on Easter, this painted hat is upcycled mostly from repurposed kitchen trash. A bouquet of flowers handmade from egg cartons bursts from the crown of a small round plastic bowl. Green fabric leaves plucked from a thrifted wreath and pearl white highlights add constrast and a bit of shimmer. It is finished with a striped white, purple and fuchsia hatband adding a touch of clownish delight to the headpiece and to your day.
Purple Flower Upcycled Tiny Painted Hat
This purple painted hat with pearlized details is a tiny lightweight and whimsical hat perfect for your humorous nature. It was created from repurposed trash, and thrifted and salvaged items, that would have otherwise ended up in a landfill. The base and the flower bouquet I handpainted, inside and out, with acrylic paints. The small fascinator has been lacquered multiple times, making it water and scratch-resistant.* The striped hatband is scrap fabric from a white, purple and fuchsia pirate wench skirt I made. Cock at a slight angle and secure it to your hair, wig, or even a knit cap with crisscrossing bobby pins** slipped through the green loops.

*Care:
Handle with care. Hold hat sides, NOT by the brim or flowers.
Clean with a feather duster or spot clean gently with a soft cotton or bamboo rag and a drop of water. No chemicals, abrasive materials, or sharply pointed metals. While this hat is lacquered and water-resistant, it is not necessarily waterproof. Cover it if caught in the rain or when near misters. If it does get wet, gently shake off water droplets, pat it with a tea towel, and set it to dry in the sunshine or in front of a fan on a low setting.
Store in a dry place.
